Lasting Power of Attorney
LPA services
A Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA) is a legal document that lets you (the "donor") to appoint one or more people (known as "attorneys") to help you make decisions or to make decisions on your behalf. This gives you more control over what happens to you in the event that you have an accident or an illness and cannot make your own decisions.
A Power of Attorney is not just for senior citizens - it can be put in place at any age, for your own peace of mind.
Financial & Property LPA
Gives an attorney the power to make decisions about money and property on an individuals behalf, such as:
Managing a bank or building society account
Paying bills
Collecting benefits or a pension
Selling your home
Health & Welfare LPA
Allows an appointed attorney the power to make decisions on health and welfare matters such as:
Your daily routine, for example washing, dressing and eating
Medical care
Moving into a care or nursing home
Life-sustaining treatment
It can only be used when you are unable to make your own decisions.
Prices start at £100 (per document) or, £185 as a combined service offer for the completion of both Financial and Property, and Health and Welfare LPA documents. Enquire today for more information.
